PHOEBE ALVA (Lady Macbeth) is very 
grateful to be returning for her second summer 
with Shakespeare by the Sea! She received 
her BFA in Acting from UC Santa Barbara, and 
her recent theatrical credits include Julius 
Caesar (Brutus, Colleen Hammond Whitman),  
As You Like It (Audrey & LeBeau, SBTS), A Midsummer Night’s 
Dream (Lysander, Prague International Theater Company), Hay 
Fever (Judith Bliss, directed by Julie Fishell), and The Death of 
Kings (Queen Margaret, directed by Irwin Appel), which was 
invited to perform as the closing act in the Verona Shakespeare 
Festival. She would love to thank her family, friends, girlfriend, 
and mentors for their ongoing support, and she dedicates this 
performance to her brother, Tristan, an artist lost too soon.

CYLAN BROWN (Macbeth) is returning to 
Shakespeare by the Sea for his seventeenth 
(?) season. SBTS regulars may recognize him 
from his portrayals of Falstaff, Hamlet, Romeo, 
Touchstone, Falconbridge and Julius Caesar 
over the years. Other stage roles include Lt. 
David Wills in Taking Sides (Rubicon Theatre), Victor Fleming in 
Moonlight and Magnolias, and Serge in Art.  (Civic Light Opera of 
South Bay). When not on stage Cy teaches high school English 
with LAUSD. He sends much love to his students, friends, 
cast-mates, parents and, of course, the audience.
PETER GREEN (Ross/Assistant Director) is a 
performer and educator based in South Orange 
County, where he teaches and directs theatre 
for all ages. This is Peter’s sixth summer with 
Shakespeare by the Sea, last performing as 
Poins and Prince John in Henry IV. He has also 
performed at Irvine’s New Swan Shakespeare, playing Dogberry 
in Much Ado About Nothing and Lafeu in All’s Well That Ends Well 
last summer. He is delighted to return to his favorite South Bay 
tradition and grateful he still can.
KATIE HERLING (Seyton/Porter/Soldier) 
is delighted to be returning to SBTS for 
her second season! She was most recently 
seen as Gretchen in Boeing Boeing with 
Village Barn Playhouse and Benedick in 
Southern Bard’s Much Ado About Nothing. 
Favorite credits include Romeo and Juliet (Tybalt) with 
Backroom Shakes, The Legend of Bonny Anne (Mary Reade) with 
GayInnocentHeartlessTheatrics, and Our Rights and Nothing Less 
MEGAN RUBLE (Witch 2/Lady Macduff) is 
an L.A.-based storyteller who is passionate 
about art and the change it can elicit in the 
world.  She’s elated to be returning for her 
third season with Shakespeare by the Sea.  
Favorite previous roles with the company 
include: Fletcher (Cardenio), Phebe/Old Adam (As You Like It), 
and Cinna/Octavius (Julius Caesar). You can find her in films 
on Tubi and Amazon Prime. She can also be found performing 
with the bar Shakespeare groups Shakes on the Rocks and Riot

DYLAN J. SAMPSON (Duncan/Siward/
Lord/Murderer) is happy to be making his 
Shakespeare by the Sea debut. A lifelong 
veteran of the stage, he’s performed all 
over the country for more than 25 years. 
Recent credits include Julius Caesar (Brutus), 
A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Oberon/Egeus), The Winter’s 
Tale (Polixenes) and Antigone (Haemon). Dylan is also a fight 
choreographer and martial artist with a brown belt in Brazilian 
jiujitsu under Renzo Gracie. Follow him on ig @dylanjsampson
HADIYYAH NOELLE SMITH (Witch 1/
Doctor/Old Man) is an actress, singer, and 
comedian in L.A.. She is also a proud co- 
owner of the theater company Run Amuck 
Entertainment, which specializes in original 
works from marginalized communities and 
bringing Shakespeare to underrepresented communities. She 
has performed stand-up all over L.A., as well as many Cabarets 
and stage shows, but one of her first loves is Shakespeare, and 
she was lucky enough to get her BFA in Acting from Florida State 
(Narrator) with La Mirada Theater. When not acting, she teaches 
stage combat and directs young actors with Shakespeare Kids and 
the Morgan-Wixson Theater. Biggest special thanks to her friends, 
family, and Martha. 
SAVANNAH MOFFAT (Witch 3/Angus/
Murderer) is excited to be returning to the 
SBTS stage for her fifth summer. She was 
most recently seen in Shakespeare by the 
Sea’s productions of As You Like It as Rosalind 
and Julius Caesar as Portia. Other recent 
SBTS credits include Cardenio (Violante), Henry IV (Lady Percy), 
Hamlet (Guildenstern) and Much Ado About Nothing (Sister 
Francis). Outside of the theatre, she is pursuing a Master’s degree 
in Marriage and Family Therapy and trains/performs as a circus 
artist. She is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful show this 
summer and gives a big thank you to everyone for coming out 
to support!
WILL MUELLER (Macduff) is excited to 
be returning to Shakespeare by the Sea for 
his third year. A Colorado native with a BFA 
in Acting from Illinois Wesleyan University, 
Will began his professional career as a Core 
Company member at the Shakespearean 
company, Gamut Theatre Group. After, he moved to Los Angeles, 
California where he began The Groundings core track and worked 
as a freelance artist. Some of his recent theater credits include 
Laretes in Hamlet, Captain Wentworth in Persuasion, The 
Shepherd’s Son in The Winter’s Tale and Little Fish Theatres Pick

ASHWATH RAM (Malcolm/Lord) is an 
Indian actor based in LA and Chennai. He 
loves bringing a lot of worldly cultures into 
his performance practices.  Graduating with 
an MFA in acting at CalArts in Los Angeles, he 
has had experience in an array of film, theater 
and Voice overs. He has worked with institutions and theater 
companies such as Artists At play (LATC), Theatre movement 
Bazaar and TEDx. Theater credits include The Airport, Danton’s 
Death (Hunter Abaal), Être, Jouer et Performer (Laurent Berger), 
The Overcoat (Tina Kronis). He is very excited to be making his

University and FSU London, where she was able to work with Jo 
Howarth and Geraldine Alexander from The RSC. She is so excited to 
be performing in her first Shakespeare By The Sea production! She 
has dreamed of working with this company since moving to LA, and 
she has played many characters across the Shakespeare universe. 
Some of her favorites include Kent (King Lear), The Shepherd 
(Winter’s Tale), Fluellen (Henry V), and Dogberry (Much Ado). Are they 
all men? Yes, that is because she is a sucker for a fake mustache! But 
she can’t wait to add Witch 1 to her list! She can’t wait to get started 
this summer and hopes you enjoy this production!
JURNEE WOO (Fleance/Young Siward/Young 
Macduff/Others) is a passionate actor whose work 
focuses primarily on the experiences of BIPOC 
Queer women. She was most recently featured 
in the Thespihonest stage production of Romeo 
& Juliet as Romeo, and also previously starred in 
the award-winning short film “Thank You for Breaking My Heart,”  
which had its Los Angeles premiere at the OutfestNEXT film festival. 
Woo studied Theatre while attending Louisiana State University, 
where she also collegiately competed in their women’s track and 
field program, becoming an All-American and representing Team 
USA as a 400-meter hurdle semifinalist for the World Athletics U20 
Championships. She’s very excited for you to watch this show.
ALEC YAMARTINO (Banquo/Soldier) is thrilled 
to participate in his fourth year with Shakespeare 
By The Sea following his big debut as Bernardo/
Osric in Hamlet in 2023, Camillo in Cardenio, Pistol 
in Henry IV in the 2024 season, Jacques/Duke 
Frederick in As You Like It and Metellus Cimber 
in Julius Caesar for 2025. He hails from Concord, Massachusetts 
and studied Electronic Media Production and Theater at High Point 
University. He would like to thank his parents, his girlfriend and his 
pet shrimp for their endless support.
