Since 1998, almost half a million people have experienced our admission-free performances. For decades, our parks have been places for families, friends, and neighbors to gather and be moved, comforted, and inspired by Shakespeare’s words.
We are at a Crossroads
You may not realize that most tour fees are paid after the shows, and we often wait 60-90 days after the summer for government and foundation support to be received. Meanwhile, the bulk of our expenses are incurred from January to June. The small reserves we had built up before 2020 to kickstart each January are gone. In order to continue, we must raise the funds to start planning the season by the end of January.
