Distinguished Professor Emeritus, UCLA Professor Michael Allen** takes us behind the scenes of one of one of Shakespeare’s beloved plays to discuss the characters, share his insights into the characters, the political climate at the time of the writing, and why we should relish the language. We’ll discover what was going on in the career of the Bard to inspire this great work.
Guests will enjoy a buffet of hors d’oeuvres and beverages reminiscent of the play’s settings in Rome & Egypt provided by Caccavalla’s Catering.
